Dietary supplement made with lactic ferments, chicory inulin fibres and bioavailable zinc.
Dietary supplement with lactic ferments, chicory inulin fibres and bioavailable zinc.
The digestive system potentially hosts 50% of the organism defences. It has 100000 billion “good” essential bacteria. Children intestinal flora is still immature, thus sensitive to any potential disturbance. An unhealthy diet, stress related to growth or antibiotic intake can play a role in the unbalance.
PEDIAKID® Probiotiques 10-M was elaborated with lactic ferments (lactobacillus casei, lactobacillus acidophilus, lactobacillus plantarum, streptococcus thermophilus) selected to bring back balance to the intestinal flora.
The chicory inulin complements the formula boosting the growth of the good intestine bacteria.
PEDIAKID® Probiotiques-10M is rich in diglycines zinc which benefits from an optimal bio availability, thus strengthening the immune system.

What is the intestinal microbiota?
Intestinal microbiota (or intestinal flora) is composed of all micro-organisms in the intestine. The digestive system of a healthy adult has 100000 billion bacteria from 500 different species. They contribute to a proper digestion and defence mechanism against external threats.
This endogenous flora builds itself at birth and is developing for 3 years. It can become weak or unbalanced because of the fatigue induced by the process of growing up or antibiotic intakes. The organism becomes weak as a whole.
Playing a major role for our health
Intestinal microbiota plays a key role in the digestive process as it favours the fermenting process. It ensures the proper intake of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals from our diet.
Intestinal microbiota intervenes as well in the immune system and natural defences support by protecting the digestive tube from pathogenic microorganisms’ expansion (shield effect).
To add, it makes possible the development and maturation of the immune system throughout the life of the individual. The intestine hosts not less than 70% of immune cells.
Intestinal microbiota takes part in the sugar, fat processing and appetite regulation. It participates as well in the vitamin production such as vitamin B or K.
Finally, it also makes the synthesis between neurotransmitters and is involved in the brain-intestine communication.
… But a fragile ecosystem
Intestinal microbiota can impoverish and loose diversity due to:
Age
High sugar, fat intake from the daily diet or strong consumption of industrialized goods
Stress
Antibiotic intake
Functional disorder
… leading to intestinal issues (diarrea, constipation, bloating), weight gain, drop in immune defences (sensitive to infections) and vitality. On the long term, it can become a risk factor for metabolic diseases.
Why do we need to consume prebiotic and probiotic?
Several elements are capable to restore microbiota’s features:
> Probiotics: Living microorganisms, bacteria or yeasts, which when administered in the right quantity with the right probiotic type, favour the intestinal microflora development and balance. In addition to positive nutritional effects (WHO-FAO, 2001), they have a positive impact on the overall individual’s health.
> Prebiotic: Oligo or poly-saccharides that cannot be digested (fibres). They boost specific bacterias' development and activity (bifidogenous), improving the health.
Exclusive feauture:
Guaranteed innovation “Concentrated and stabilised formula”
PEDIAKID® Probiotiques 10-M was made with lactic ferments source selected for their benefits and stabilised state.
The packaging guarantees the stability of ferments even if the product is not stored in a cold environment.
Intestinal benefits
> Normal transit: Helps reduce constipation symptoms, diminishes the frequency and duration of diarrhea linked to antibiotic intakes or infections (gastro-enteritis, food poisoning).
> Reduces bloating, abdominal pain, transit disorder
> Ease digestion, especially for lactose intolerant people.
Immune system benefits
> Improves the intestinal mucous barrier function: balances the beneficial microorganism population. Stimulates mucous and antibacterial secretions produced by enterocytes. Increase type IgA antibody production involved in the immune response.
> Regulation of the intestinal immune system activity: Reinforces it in case it weakens. Diminishes the overactivation in case of allergies or intestinal functional disorder.
Metabolic equilibrium benefits:
> Enhances hepatic function
> Increases energetic discharge and diminishes lipidic absorption
